Roswell debate over UFO Festival funding and ledgers tax
City officials discuss spending of the 5 percent ledgers tax collected from hotel stays and the festival budget. Councilor Huckabee criticizes $150,000 in city funds, while UFO Museum director Shuster seeks a $70,000 to $75,000 budget with celebrity guests. Committee chair Roach argues more funding drives visitors and sponsorships to Roswell.
