Navajo Nation Blocks Uranium Transport Access in Arizona
Navajo Nation officials oppose Wate Mining Company LLC transport of uranium ore across tribal lands to a Utah milling site. The plan envisions 1.5 years of trucking 70 000 tons of ore for processing into yellowcake.
