GSA demands cash for flood damage to Wherry housing in Roswell
The General Services Administration will seek 9323.95 in cash from the city of Roswell to cover flood damage to Wherry housing at RIAC. GSA official James Ware says a city offer to maintain a swimming pool to offset the payment is unacceptable as the pool is not in the housing area. City Manager Owen expects a satisfactory response and notes council previously approved paying 2823.95 to avoid litigation over drainage near RIAC. bids will be sought to install 840 feet of elliptical pipe along GI Boulevard to fix flooding.
