Ex-TV chef pleads not guilty in murder hire plot
Former Calorie Commando host Juan Carlos Cruz pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles Superior Court to charges of attempted murder and solicitation of murder after an alleged plot to hire two homeless men to kill his wife. Bail was set at two million. a June 23 preliminary hearing was scheduled.
