A one hour baseball game between Cadets and Henrietta Texas at the Military Institute grounds yesterday afternoon ended two to one. Kennard walked and Brail and Caldwell hit to load bases, with Baker’s long fly scoring a run. Henrietta tied and then led briefly on a W Wright hit and home team errors. Final score followed by an official score and umpire R. M. Parsons.

Bold thief steals car with bonds on Broadway

A $10,000 automobile containing $24,000 in bonds and valuable papers was stolen on Broadway near 42nd Street. Owner J. H. Clarke left the car unoccupied to enter a nearby restaurant. the thief jumped in as it started and sped away, eluding pursuers.

Aged Man Fuller Hanged in Butte for 1904 Murder

Mills Fuller aged 66 was hanged at 5 30 am in Butte Montana for the murder of Henry Callinan on October 24 1904. Death was instantaneous with two thousand witnesses. Fuller made no statement though petitions for clemency cited his age and health. The governor refused to commute. He was suspected in three other murders but not convicted.

Coal Companies Present Stock to Railroad Officials

Evi dence of stock presentation by coal companies to railroad officials was adduced at the Interstate Commerce Commission session in Philadelphia. E. J. Cleave testified he owned 250 shares in Cochran Coal Co obtained as partial payment for land, and he had been offered stock but declined. F L Sheppard of the United Railway of New Jersey said he owned stock in several mining companies.

Professor Axelson's Funeral Service Detailed

The funeral of the late Andrew Axelson will be held tomorrow at 8 30 in the morning at the Allery undertaking parlors. Rev C Hill will officiate with special music by Eva Nelson Nina Rabb Rodkey Norvell Reed Stevens. The band will play opening and closing numbers and escort the body to the station.

Guilty Plea Changes Forgery Case After Jury Deliberations

After the jury was empaneled in the forgery case against Ennis Post, he withdrew his not guilty plea and the trial was halted. The sentence is pending and he remains out on bond. Post allegedly forged C. C. Martin’s name on a check two years ago at Morrison Bros. He is about 18. In a separate matter, Lincoln Whiteman withdrew his not guilty plea on a tobacco sale to minors and pleaded guilty this morning.
