Carnival to support moms becomes inaugural success
Gina Arambula started the Mom's Loving Hope Foundation to aid moms facing illness or hardship. The first MLHF carnival ran April 25 to May 5 at Wool Bowl, despite winds. Arambula aims for an annual event and enjoys seeing attendees have fun. Her motivation comes after losing her mother to cancer and dementia in 2020.

Roswell man killed in officer involved shooting identified
The Roswell Police Department says Faustino Carrete Jr., a 33 year old felon from Albuquerque, was killed after firing on officers behind a North Main Street tire shop. A Roswell officer was wounded in the leg and treated at a medical center as state police and county deputies joined the pursuit.

Roswell Officials Review Hangar Site Options at Special Meeting
Roswell Airport Advisory Commission weighed where to place a large hangar and GA hangars.
