Local activist Frank Sanchez honored for community aid work
The Community Foundation in Chaves County celebrates Frank Sanchez for promoting equal rights and health care access. He co founded La Clinica Rural Hagerman and health clinics in Roswell and Eddy County, helped start Con Alma Health Foundation, and led Immigration Services Center aiding over 1500 families. He later founded Southern New Mexico Legal Services and received UNM an honorary doctorate for social justice efforts. Proceeds from CFCC events fund local nonprofit grants.
