Two NM cultural review panel appointees resign amid Mount Taylor appeal
Two appointees to New Mexico's Cultural Properties Review Committee left the panel after it voted to join an appeal of a court ruling on Mount Taylor's designation as a traditional cultural property. Ed Boles refused reappointment in April over concerns the move tied to the vote, while Laguna Pueblo Gov. Richard Suarkie was removed by Gov. Susana Martinez for potential conflict of interest.
