Girl Scouts face inquiry by Catholic bishops over program ties
The U S conference of Catholic Bishops opens an inquiry into the Girl Scouts of the USA amid objections to materials and alleged links with other groups. The probe targets “problematic” content and relationships while the organization defends its inclusivity and denies partnerships with Planned Parenthood. The stakes rise as Catholic members and critics press for changes during the 100th anniversary year.
