Legal fees mount in NMMI vs NMMI Alumni case

The dispute over about 85 million in alumni assets has cost NMMI more than 460000 in legal fees through March 2015, all to Hinkle Hensley Shaner & Hensley. NMMI says the judge ruled the alumni association is an agent of NMMI. A June 11 Roswell hearing is scheduled as the suit nears a conclusion.

Clements to speak at ENMU Roswell commencement

Manhunt after SWAT raid in Roswell over stabbing case

Police say 24 year old Javier Edward Perez is Wanted for armed robbery conspiracy to commit armed robbery aggravated battery with a deadly weapon attempted kidnapping and kidnapping conspiracy. Roswell SWAT executed a high risk search warrant in the 800 block of West 10th Street but Perez was not found. Tory Clinton, 18, was arrested on the same charges.
