Roswell forum features six Republican judicial candidates
At First Baptist Church of Roswell about 50 people heard six Republicans discuss magistrate judge and sheriff races. Candidates included Bobby Arnett and incumbent K C Rogers for magistrate judge and Patrick Barncastle Arthur Fleming Gary W Graves and J Britt Snyder for sheriff. The June 3primary will determine winners.

Absentee voting opens for June 3 primary elections
Absentee voting begins today for the June 3 primary elections and last day to register to vote is today. Early voting in Chaves County runs May 17 through 31 at Roswell Mall, the County Clerk’s Area D office, and the Hagerman substation with varying weekday hours. Race Across USA runners to pass through Roswell in February
Race Across USA co directors Darren and Sandy Van Soye announced Roswell will host a late February segment of the coast to coast run to promote fitness in public schools. The event starts January 16 and will cover 13 states with a core team of ten runners.
