Mountain View teacher Busby earns state teaching honor
Mountain View Middle School math teacher Jeremy Busby received high state praise during a New Mexico Excellence in Teaching tour led by Education Secretary Christoper Ruszkowski. Busby, 29, a Roswell native, guided an award worthy eighth grade Algebra I and Pre-Algebra program, led the school’s strong math team, and serves as math department head focusing on data driven pacing and accessible instruction. He was one of 14 finalists for New Mexico Teacher of the Year.
