Rancher Grant Brumlow and wife Die in Plane Crash

Grant Brumlow a 44 year old New Mexico rancher banker and insurance executive and his wife Ethyl 45 were killed when their twin engine Cessna crashed after leaving Ruidoso for Albuquerque. The wreckage was found near Ruidoso Municipal Airport in Lincoln National Forest. The couple had ties to Kermit Texas Las Cruces and Ruidoso and funeral services will be held in Kermit. FBI search efforts were aided by Holloman AFB and FAA is investigating. Brumlow was active in the state Republican party serving as finance chairman for Joe Skeen's bid.

Bramlow owned stock in Citizens Bank of Albuquerque and major holdings in First National Bank of Clovis Bank of Santa Fe and American National Bank in Silver City. He was president of Buena Suerte Ranch near Roswell and purchased Easy Jet for 3.5 million. Survived by three sons Mike Glenn and John.
