A 1938 Action Comics No 1 copy, debut of Superman, sold for 1.5 million dollars on ComicConnect.com, beating prior records. The card was in high grade, bought from a private collector and sold by ComicConnect co owners Stephen Fishler and Vincent Zurzolo to a dedicated fan.

June Havoc born Jane Hovick in Seattle on November 8 1912 died at her Stamford Connecticut home at 97 publicist Shirley Herz said. She the younger sister of Gypsy Rose Lee had a long theater career from 1918 into the 2000s and wrote plays memoirs including Early Havoc and More Havoc.
