VA delays and denials fuel veteran frustration and calls for review
A veteran member reports multiple delayed or backlogged VA and Army disability and retirement claims from 2012. Examples include a dependent claim for a son with illness and a CRSC request, with claims repeatedly bounced between USPS, Army, and VA offices. The author cites budget cuts and staffing strain affecting Veterans Service Officers and access to local help, promising further details next week.
