Gov Susana Martinez vetoed House Bill 379 on race horse drug testing and signed House Bill 49 allowing tax notices by email. HB 49 takes effect July 1 with unanimous votes in both chambers. Ezzell's HB 379 would have expanded testing and necropsy requirements for horses.
