Where New Mexicans spend federal income tax in 2015
The National Priorities Project shows the average New Mexican paid 9051 in federal income taxes in 2015, with health care at 29 percent the largest share. Pentagon and military spending follow at about 26 percent, and interest on the national debt at 13.6 percent.
