Aztec prepares old firehouse for county museum records
The Aztec firehouse, built in the 1950s, is cleared of clutter to store San Juan County Historical Society records dating to the 1890s. The project, funded by a 101000 total cost with 55000 from the city and 55000 from the county, will relocate archives and allow access to preserved documents. Winters Construction won the renovation contract as city officials approve the deal.
