Roswell Pioneer Lizzie Williams Dies at 92
Roswell longtime resident and former teacher Lizzie Thompson Williams, 92, died after a long illness in a local hospital. Born in Forrest Texas July 18 1874 she lived in Roswell 68 years taught at West Grand Plains and served as librarian for the Christian Science Reading Room. She is survived by two daughters two sisters and a brother with funeral plans pending Ballard Funeral Home to announce time for Monday services.
