Witness granted immunity in Roswell murder case
Steve F. Boydston 21 of Roswell was granted immunity by Dist. Court Judge Paul Snead to testify for the prosecution in the murder trial of Alvin D. Callaway, charged with the death of his daughter Mary Elaine Smith 26. Also charged with first degree murder are Bobby Barnett 29 and William R. Smith 20. Callaway’s trial continued with Deputy Dewayne Shaw and Investigator Tom Edgett testifying.
