Roswell ETZ Denies Zoning Change for PVP Open House Plans
The Roswell Chaves County ETZ Authority voted 5-0 to deny Pecos Valley Pharmaceuticals zoning for a Nature's Dairy bottling plant site, citing federal law over New Mexico's medical marijuana statute. CEO Clinton Greathouse said PVP moved its nursery to East Hobson Road and will open a dispensary on West County Club Road. Sides supported the new tax revenue and jobs while urging state law changes to decriminalize marijuana.
