Easter Cantata Planned by Roswell Nazarene Church
Roswell First Church of the Nazarene will stage the Easter cantata No Greater Love at 7 p.m. Good Friday and 6 p.m. Easter Sunday at Missouri Avenue and Eighth Street with Eugene Hale and Mrs. Alden Forban directing. Also Maundy Thursday and Easter services at Masonic Temple and a sunrise service at New Mexico Military Institute Chapel.

The Point Loma College Choir of 47 singers will perform sacred music at 7 tonight at First Church of the Nazarene Missouri Avenue and Eighth Street. Dr. Keith A. Two Cannon Air Force Base pilots will host a 7 p.m. forum at ENMU Roswell in the Student Union Building main ballroom. Capt. Bill Martin and Capt. John Davis will present a slide program on mid air collision avoidance, discuss low altitude training routes across New Mexico, and show a film on the F 111D. Martin is a Roswell native, Roswell High School graduate of 1966.

Appeals uphold searches in Luna murder case in Roswell
The state Court of Appeals ruled the Chaves County District Court erred by suppressing evidence against 18 year old Michael Luna in the Nina Nelson murder case. The decision also affirms other criminal convictions including Benislow Baca for vehicle theft and altered VIN and Daniel Barela for heroin trafficking.
