Roswell hosts Dorothy Peterson artworks at the New Mexico Art and Craft Center Pojoaque and Canyon Road Gallery Santa Fe. She earns recognition from the Santa Fe New Mexican and gains acceptance to the Albuquerque arts show. Roswell Little Theatre joins Texas festival with Witness for the Prosecution, touring April 21 1921.
A survey by the State Department of Education finds about 40 percent of New Mexico teachers left classrooms during late February crisis. Thirty percent withheld services without district approval, mainly in Albuquerque and seven other towns. 16 percent took professional study days, with only 13 percent off. Governor Cargo’s session plans and NMEA rhetoric are questioned as the board weighs disciplinary options.
