Father and three children shot dead at wife's grave
Gilbert Friend, 28, a railway mail clerk from Plant City Florida, and his three children Robert eight Helen six Kenneth seven months, were found shot to death at the grave of his wife Marianne in Upper Darby. The bodies lay huddled under a blanket on the mother's grave. Friend died of a self-inflicted wound. Police said the killings occurred around midnight after the wife’s death on January 5. Names of all four deceased were inscribed on the headstone.
