Roswell Shootings Prompt Arrests in Local Blotter
Roswell police responded to a West Alameda Street shooting at 1 45 a m causing 750 in property damage. Michael Anchondo 27 of Roswell was arrested for possession of paraphernalia at South Beech and East Hobbs at 141 a m. Garrett Harris Beene 20 of Roswell was arrested for possession of marijuana at North Main and East Country Club Road at 1114 p m Thursday.

Man Convicted of Murder in 2005 Clovis Boy Death
A jury found 36-year-old Noe Torres guilty of murder in the 2005 death of 10-year-old Carlos Perez in Clovis. The gunfire from a gang hit left the boy sleeping in his room on the eve of his 11th birthday.
