The Hiking R.A.S.C.all plans a Tuesday morning hike to Sitting Bull Falls in Guadalupe Mountains meeting at 7 a.m. at the Roswell Adult and Senior Center. Cost is 8 dollars for gas. bring breakfast, lunch, sun screen, hat, sturdy shoes and long pants. Reservations required call 624-6718.
Several local activities scheduled mid March include a Wednesday stamping group at the Wilshire Center, a Rise With Roswell breakfast March 18 with speaker Matt Rush at the Farm Bureau Building, and a Chaves County Democratic meeting at the Roswell Elks Lodge. Additional items cover Senior Circle dance classes, Business After Hours at Roswell Regional Hospital, an Assistance League meeting, Hobby and Motorcycle Show at the Roswell Adult and Senior Center, a prom dress drive by CASA and All-American Cleaners, with drop-off points across Roswell and Artesia.
