Escape of armed inmate prompts security concerns in New Mexico
Corrections officials warn that fatigue and complacency can undermine security after two high risk inmates, including Clair 29, fled from a van seen on hotel surveillance in Albuquerque. Authorities describe Clair as armed with a feather tattoo and note possible sightings across Artesia and surrounding areas with Border Patrol and local police deploying dogs, aircraft, and foot patrols in a statewide search.
