Investment lawsuit raises NM losses to 228 million
The suit filed in 2008 by former state pension investment officer Frank Foy against Vanderbilt Financial and other firms adds dividends and interest to the claimed losses. The state now estimates $228 million in losses from 2004 to 2006 investments and seeks remedies under the Fraud Against Taxpayers Act.
