Former NMMI Cadet Killed in Israel Stabbing
Taylor Force a 28 year old New Mexico Military Institute and West Point graduate and MBA student at Vanderbilt University was killed Tuesday in a stabbing spree during a school trip to Israel near Jaffa. He served in the Army from 2009 to 2014 with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Roswell man pleads guilty to meth trafficking
Israel Luna 37 pleaded guilty in Las Cruces federal court to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and using and carrying a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime. Authorities seized about 217 grams of meth and a firearm during a Sept. 24 search of his Roswell residence assisted by the FBI and Chaves County Metro Narcotics Task Force.
