Smoke advisory issued as Texas fires cast haze over New Mexico
The New Mexico Environment Department and Department of Health warned of smoke from Texas Panhandle fires affecting eastern New Mexico from Clayton to Carlsbad. Winds shift as inversions linger, with Roswell seeing southeast smoke later Tuesday after winds generally flow from the northwest.
