Celebrities benefit from Colony tax breaks
The Denver Post reports Goldie Hawn Tom Cruise and Charlie Ergen qualify for agricultural land tax rates in Colorado by cutting hay or letting livestock graze. Cruise allows sheep to graze briefly near Telluride on 248 acres bought for nearly 18 million, paying about 400 in taxes, plus 11380 on another vacation property.
