Cavalry Squadron Guests at Walker AFB on Training Route
The Fourth Cavalry from Fort Riley Kansas stayed overnight at Walker Air Force Base en route to Fort Irwin California. Led by Maj C Morris the unit includes 245 men 10 officers and about 110 vehicles. Seven County Recreation Districts Gain Increases
Chaves County Commission raises the recreation fund share in seven districts by two percent to 16 in East Grand Plains Mountain View Berren do Hagerman and Lake Arthur while Roswell and Dexter rise from 8 to 10 percent.
