Girl Injured By Gunshot At Roswell Farm

A one year old Roswell girl was admitted to ENM Medical Center after a gunshot wound to the hip. Yolanda Marie Otero, daughter of Mr and Mrs M G Otero, was injured by two bullets from a 22 caliber rifle accidentally fired while children played in Raymon Lopez’s trailer home. Officers said the rifle on a table near a record player apparently discharged as the children moved records.

LAS CRUCES AP A Federal Aviation Agency expert arrived to investigate the death of 27 year old Raymond Ormsbee a New Mexico State University graduate student who fell 3000 feet from a light Air Force plane.
