Voters Head to Polls in Pecos Valley Municipal Elections
Voters in Roswell and surrounding communities go to the polls Tuesday to decide leadership for four years. Incumbents face challengers in mayoral races and several city council contests across Roswell, Lake Arthur, Dexter, Hagerman, Artesia, and villages with ballots including a proposed one eighth of one percent gross receipts tax in Artesia. Leader Magee urges candidates to present specific platforms and engage voters through forums.
