East Bland Street sidewalk project full accessibility achieved
A ribbon cutting marked the completion of a one mile East Bland Street sidewalk improvement from Mesa Middle School west to Garden Avenue. Funded by a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant from the state, the project was built by Abraham's Construction of Albuquerque with Roswell city engineers inspecting. Public input hearings for a new CDBG project are set for July 6 at the Convention Center and July 7 at the Boys and Girls Club, both at 5 p.m.
