President Nixon will tour Moscow and Minsk during his Soviet visit starting Tuesday and may visit the Star City cosmonaut training center near Moscow. The trip includes a stop at the Oreanda resort area on the Black Sea, with UPI maps highlighting trip highlights.
President Nixon returns to Washington from Camp David for a domestic briefing before a Brussels NATO visit and a 10 day trip to the Soviet Union with Leonid Brezhnev. He will sign the Colorado River Basin salinity act and meet economic aides before departing. Brezhnev cites stable US Soviet relations and hints Watergate should not derail pending understandings.
Secretary of State Henry Kissinger rejected claims of a secret U S Soviet pact to boost submarine based missiles beyond SALT I limits and to add missile silos. He said the allegations lack merit and misread the negotiations while contrasting with Senator Henry Jackson criticisms.
