Medical marijuana backlog grows in Roswell as demand soars

Roswell's second medical cannabis dispensary nears opening while a pet shop expands hours. Patients report long delays in getting medical marijuana cards as the New Mexico DOH records a jump from about 14 000 to 25 000 patients in the last year. RPD enforces warrant arrest of Shane Mann

The Roswell Police Department served an arrest warrant on Shane Mann, 28, at about 10 30 a m in the 1500 block of Pontiac Drive. Mann initially refused to emerge from the house but was taken into custody about an hour later without incident. Mann was wanted on an alleged probation violation.
