In Beziers they camped in the square, stacked arms, and demanded their former barracks. Premier Clemenceau condemned surrender and sought a vote of confidence as deputies denounced the government. Last night and again today a large influx of water flowed into the Hondo Reservoir. A surge descended the Hondo and was diverted into the dam, with another arrival this morning. In town the Hondo measured about four feet deep this morning.
