Lawrence Brady, bartender at La Mexicana Bar, was shot in the chest shortly after 7 am on a back porch. Police say Brady claimed he shot himself but no motive is found. A .22 pistol lay beside him. bystander Gray heard a shot. Brady, about 46, was taken to St. Marys hospital. X rays planned to check for a broken arm.
