Water tops list of issues in water poll
Water and drought emerged as the top concern for New Mexicans in a poll of 400 registered voters from May 8 to May 13. Education and roads follow as priorities while voters want the next governor to emphasize water and land use planning and repair existing infrastructure. The New Mexico Coalition for a Livable Future released the results, urging candidates Richardson and Sanchez to respond to the voters’ agenda.
