Semi-Truck Collides With Train in Dexter Injuring Driver
A semi struck a train in downtown Dexter at Lincoln Avenue and Third Street at 10:17 am, demolishing a building housing railroad warning electricals. The truck driver suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in serious condition. The train conductor and two others had minor injuries. Debris scattered. no hazardous chemicals were involved.

Heated dispute over backdoor leads to arrest

One injured in Sunday crash in Roswell
A 76-year-old man was injured when his 2020 black Toyota veered off Southeast Main Street in south Roswell and crashed near East Grand Plains Road. He was airlifted to a Texas hospital with conditions not reported as of Monday afternoon.
