Roswell cancels fireworks for Mike Satterfield Extravaganza
Roswell will not hold a fireworks display at this year’s Mike Satterfield Fourth of July Extravaganza. City manager Joe Neeb said the event remains the Extravaganza and the city may explore future options such as laser lights while not using the Fire Department to run the display. The change follows a June 5 fireworks explosion that injured two firefighters and harmed others.
