Merchants' Meeting Tonight At Nickson Coffee Shop

Ford Can Turn Out Planes At Rate 1000 A Day

DETROIT June 11 Mass production of high speed pursuit planes for the United States army at least 1000 a day within six months not only will be a simple task Henry Ford said today but they can be rolled off his assembly lines without interruption of normal output of automobiles. The 76 year old Ford asserted after he and his engineers inspected the Curtiss P 40 considered most needed in an emergency. He noted the defense only bargain.
