New Mexico GOP ousts two incumbents in primary
In Albuquerque the Republican Party purged two incumbents Sen. R.L. Stockard of Broomfield and Rep. J. Andy Kissner of Las Cruces after they voted with Democrats on veto overrides. Party officials say the moves reflect a sharpening of GOP discipline and a push to back Johnsonly conservative governance.
