New York June 1 AP Max Baer and Primo Carnera were deemed in satisfactory condition for their 15 round heavyweight championship bout next Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. The New York State Athletic Commission ordered the fight to proceed. Chairman John J. Phelan announced after physicians examined both fighters at commission headquarters. The decision followed doctors Dr William Walker Dr Morris Beyer and Dr Vincent Narditic opinion that the bout should go on. The commission had no vote required under state law.

Free first aid course offered by Don O Blea in Roswell
