Washington June 7 AP A House resolution extends a skeleton NRA organization until April 1 1936 and authorizes the president to approve voluntary codes. The measure, sent to the Senate, follows President Roosevelt urging codes conform to anti trust laws as Senate leaders expect smooth passage though some critics may stall for study.
National League results show Boston 2 to 9 against New York with Cantwell Hogan Parmelee Mancuso in the batteries. Brooklyn beat Philadelphia 11 to 9 as Clark Vance Lopez and others starred. Cincinnati routed St Louis 13 to 6 before rain halted play. Pittsburgh defeated in a 4 to 11 game before weather suspended the night. Chicago and St Louis doubleheader postponed due to rain.

Baer resents Hoffman over a costly California court suit by former manager J Ham Lorimer, a hand injury, and Hoffman’s interference in Baer’s private life. Hoffman often does not attend workouts while Dolph Thomas of San Francisco leads Baer’s training for the title defense against Jimmy Braddock next Thursday night.
Flood crest from the Kaw river pours into the Missouri, ending a thousand mile desolation. Kansas City relief eases as towns recover while the Big Muddy measures five miles wide near Rocheport to St Charles. Red Cross reports 124 deaths, 536 homes lost, 2,423 damaged, 4,293 families affected. $100,000 allotted for Nebraska Kansas Missouri relief.
Flooding in Oklahoma’s big Cabin and Bull creeks causes hundreds of motorists to be marooned and about 300 families left without homes. Main Frisco line trains delayed and crop and property damage rising beyond 200000 dollars after a nine hour downpour.
Tokyo reports a tense North China situation as Japanese troops move and government authorizes pressure south of the Great Wall. Army transports head to Tientsin, under 1,000 troops, while Tokyo denies an immediate ultimatum. Foreign offices say aims are to maintain peace and order, not territory, with May 29 demands to be fulfilled. Chinese circles fear possible occupation of Tientsin and Peiping remains a remote possibility.
Washington June 7 AP New Deal leaders push to pass the skeleton NRA plan in the House but face an AFL revolt. The AFL council denounced expanding the skeleton act and severing NRA's administrative structure as a surrender to anti recovery forces. They urge a new NRA act and possible interstate licensing to enforce labor standards.
In New Mexico three grazing districts will elect advisory boards next week in Alamogordo Carrizozo and Roswell The White Sands district opens June 11 at Carrizozo to name nine members followed by a June 13 Roswell election for the Southwestern Grazing Board of eleven and a June 15 Alamogordo vote for eight in the south central district Voting rules require U S citizens or intent to become citizens and forbid proxy voting Boards will study license applications set fair range practices and help implement regulations under the Taylor act with another Southwestern District planned centered around Deming to cover Sierra Grant Hidalgo Luna and Dona Ana counties.

Louisville police were alerted to look for a new unregistered sedan believed driven by a kidnap suspect in the Tacoma case. The nine year old, George Weyerhaeuser, remains the missing child. The driver was seen attempting to obtain license plates at Louisville’s license office.
Juan Lujan, found in a bloodied alley after climbing from his hotel room onto a roof and apparently falling, remained in serious condition at a local hospital. Police sergeant Ed Donahue said Lujan registered at a hotel, then went onto a nearby building roof before the fall. He suffered a severe head injury and back injuries.
Washington reports say bonus advocates forecast a fresh bid to collect the adjusted compensation certificates immediately if the Roosevelt administration proposes new inher itance and gift taxes. Sen Thomas and Rep Patman signal willingness to back a rider, while Treasury urged taxes on receipts of inheritances and gifts as revenue.
The Bureau of Revenue considers two plans to prevent overcharges of the two percent state sales tax using coupons or metal tokens. The new law takes effect July 1, with the Bureau of Revenue assuming duties from the tax commission under chapter 9. Commissioner J. D. Bingham says plans are being developed to prevent overcharge and will be ready soon to implement with the law.
London reports Premier Ramsay MacDonald resigned after six years in office. King George VI invited Stanley Baldwin, already twice prime minister, to form a new government to fill the vacant post.
Three more forged travelers checks issued to George M. Lorius and linked to a missing East St. Louis pair and the Heberers were recovered amid efforts to locate them. Checks cashed in Abilene Cisco and Digital were tied to the same mystery after postcards from Albuquerque May 21. a prior forged check was cashed at Toyah. Authorities pursued a former Texas convict as a potential link while relatives report no word from the four since May.
