Ben Ray Luján praised turnout while Democratic contenders for Congress, including a former CIA operative and Native American advocates, competed for the right to challenge GOP figures Plame and Haaland in the November race. Ballots were cast at rodeo fairgrounds amid sanitizer measures as voters weighed candidates in several districts with Native American representation prominent in several races.
