Idaho man Chad Daybell sentenced to death in killings
A Boise jury unanimously sentenced Chad Daybell to death for the murders of his wife Tammy and his girlfriend Lori Vallow Daybell’s two children, Tylee Ryan and Joshua “JJ” Vallow, ending a high profile case that began with missing children in 2019 and ended with remains found on Daybell’s property. The court rejected mitigating evidence and declined to spare his life, while family members of the victims spoke emotionally during the sentencing. Idaho allows lethal injection or firing squad for executions.
