Reported chaotic day at the Sixty-Eighth Ballot with no change as delegates were released from instructions amid disorder. The convention adjourned to afternoon session while factions including Yates and Parke influentials clashed over delegation pledges and rules.
The street car men's union ordered a strike at 2 45 this morning. Cars will not move and about two hundred workers are affected. Strike breakers were sent to San Antonio and Denison, expected to arrive tonight. The move catches the Company prepared and ready.
Reports from St Louis and Omaha describe a severe thunderstorm with heavy rain, flooding streets, lightning strikes on buildings, and numerous injuries from a tornado near Tekahama. The day also includes international notes on Morocco and political events in Europe.

Mr and Mrs J H Beckham left Artesia this morning bound for Kansas City following a notice of the serious illness of Mr Beckham's mother.
