Fair prizes highlight passion and teamwork at Chaves County fair

Chaves County to hold zoning hearings on two sites

The Chaves County Commission schedules two public hearings this Thursday on land use. A zone change is sought for 6314 Old Dexter Highway to allow Crossroads Express restaurant beside a residence and accessory structures. A second hearing asks to amend Zone D Industrial uses at 6376 Clovis Highway for wind turbine blade shredding and recycling. Budget items for 2025-26 and 2024-25 also on the agenda.
